The inaugural ITF Beach Tennis Sand Series Tour Finals takes place at the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia on 3-7 December 2024, with a record-breaking $100,000 in prize money available to competitors.
This major event marks a new milestone in the ITF Beach Tennis World Tour given the unprecedented prize pot - the highest in the history of the Sand Series - and will feature the world's top 8 men’s and top 8 women’s doubles teams
The competition (which will take place across two indoor courts including a 10,000-spectator BNB Basketball Arena) will follow a round-robin format, with teams divided into two groups of four.
Over the course of three days, each team will play three round-robin matches. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, where the group winners will face the runners-up from the opposite group.
The tournament will culminate in a knock-out format with the semi-finals and finals held over the final two days.
All matches will be played as best of three tie-break sets, providing an intense and competitive environment that differs from the usual two-set format with a 10-point match tiebreak used on the regular tour.
