Rodionova reigns supreme at W75 Luan
Arina Rodionova collected her first piece of silverware since her stunning seven-title-winning-2023-season on the ITF World Tennis Tour with victory on Chinese soil at W75 Luan on Sunday.
The 35-year-old Australian defeated emerging Thai - and top seed - Lanlana Tararudee 6-3 1-6 6-3 in the final for her first crown since December 2023 and the 17th ITF singles title of her career.

Rodionova, who also reached the final at W50 Ahmedabad in India at the turn of the month, is continuing a late career-resurgence that looked unlikely a couple of years ago following a career-threatening wrist injury.
She underwent wrist surgery in June 2022 and missed six months of the tour thereafter, but has bounced back since to almost double her career title haul over the past two and a half seasons.
She won her first two W60 titles during a seven-strong title haul in 2023 and went on to reach a career-high ranking of No. 97 at the turn of 2024.
Antonia Ruzic won the other of the week’s marquee ITF tournaments on the women’s side, with the 22-year-old Croatian picking up the title at W75 Maribor.
Ruzic overcame Poland’s Linda Klimovicova 6-1 4-6 6-3 for her second title of the month – and the 12th ITF singles title of her career.
She stands on the brink of breaking the Top 100 for the first time.

Whitney Osuigwe, meanwhile, won her fourth ITF World Tennis Tour title at W50 Santo Domingo to boost her hopes of a return to Grand Slam-level.
The former junior world No. 1 contested the main draw at three Grand Slam tournaments in 2019-21, and is edging back towards the world’s top 200.
