ITF World Tennis Tour June Player of the Month: Janice Tjen

03 Jul 2025

Janice Tjen has been named ITF World Tennis Tour Player of the Month for June - her second consecutive month winning the award - after another extraordinary run of form.

The 23-year-old Indonesian stepped her game up another gear in June with four straight titles during the month - making it five titles and 25 match-wins in a row.

"Being chosen as Player of the Month again truly means a lot to me," said Tjen. "I’m deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my coaches, family, and sponsors. Their belief in me has helped me through every challenge, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them."

Tjen kicked off the month where she left off in May in relentless fashion at W15 Maanshan, where she won the title without dropping a set, and repeated the feat a week later at W35 Luzhou.

She kept her momentum going by claiming the biggest title of her career at W50 Taizhou, again without dropping so much as a set.

She maintained her perfect run with yet another title at W35 Taipei at the end of the month, albeit seeing her remarkable 42-set winning-streak coming to an end in the second round.

As a result of another wonderful month, Tjen is now the leading title winner on the ITF World Tennis Tour this year with six triumphs.

Now with 13 World Tennis Tour titles to her name and moving closer to the top 200 in the WTA rankings, it will be fascinating to see where Janice Tjen's electric form takes her next.
