How I train: Yaroslav Demin
Ever wondered how a top junior player trains?
The ITF recently travelled to the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor and joined Yaroslav Demin and his coach James Allemby on court for an intense and revealing practice session.
Demin was this year crowned Roland Garros boys’ doubles champion alongside Mexico’s Rodrigo Pacheco, while he also reached the Wimbledon boys’ singles final and No. 1 in the junior world rankings.
The 18-year-old will be competing at next week’s ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals in Chengdu and has big aspirations for the future. Daily practice is an integral part of his development and we went behind-the-scenes to capture the action.
