Feelin' 22: Ruzic, Kraus and Park make rankings leap with ITF wins
Antonia Ruzic returned to something of a happy hunting ground in Slovakia after winning the biggest title of her career on the ITF World Tennis Tour at W75 Trnava.
The 22-year-old Croatian, whose last professional singles title also came in Trnava at W50 level in November – defeated Elena Pridankina 6-2 4-6 6-3 in the final to win her first title of 2025 and 11th professional women’s crown overall.
Ruzic climbed 13 spots to a career-high WTA ranking of No. 131 on Monday as a result.

Ruzic was joined in the winner’s circle by fellow 22-year-olds - Austrian Sinja Kraus and Sohyun Park, who both claimed ITF W50 titles this weekend.
Kraus breezed through the draw at W50+H Macon without dropping a set, defeating Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah 6-0 7-5 in the final to secure her 10th ITF singles title – the second of her career at W50 level.
Kraus climbs 33 spots to No. 191 in this week’s WTA rankings.
Park, meanwhile, won her most significant title to date with victory on Indian hard courts at W50 Ahmedabad.
Park defeated Arina Rodionova 6-3 6-0 in the title match for her first piece of silverware since June 2023 and her seventh ITF singles title overall.
She leapt 62 spots in the WTA rankings to No. 316 as a result – edging closer to the career-high of No.287 she achieved last May.
