Day in the Life: Renata Jamrichova is the second episode in a multi-episode YouTube series being produced by the ITF which gives viewers unique insights into the daily lives of players across the world.

Renata, who is aged just 16, is currently the world’s top-ranked girl after winning the Australian Open girls’ singles title in January.

In recent months, Renata has claimed two ITF World Tennis Tour titles – the first pro titles of her career, starred for Slovakia during April’s Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers and won the girls' doubles at Roland Garros alongside Tereza Valentova of Czechia.

The video goes behind the scenes and takes a close look at Renata’s daily routine. Viewers also get to meet her charismatic coach Jan, see the court on which she first played tennis and witness her playing the piano.

Day in the Life: Renata Jamrichova follows the publication of Day in the Life: Joel Schwaerzler last month. Since publication, Joel has proceeded to win his first pro title at the Skopje Challenger.

Both players were junior world No. 1s at the time of filming and are prime examples of players who have enjoyed stellar junior careers before making strides within the professional ranks – the ITF player pathway in action.

The next video in the series will feature Kenya’s Angella Okutoyi. The 20-year-old, who has a remarkable backstory, is returning to Nairobi in order compete for Kenya in Billie Jean King Cup and the Day in the Life cameras will be there.

The Day in the Life series in 2024 builds upon the Day in the Life videos produced in 2023 with Alexandra Eala of the Philippines and Cooper Williams of the United States.
