Day in the Life: Charlie Robertson

Great Britain’s Charlie Robertson is the star of the latest episode in the ITF’s Day in the Life YouTube series, which gives unique insight into the daily lives of tennis players around the world.

Charlie concluded his junior tennis career in December following a season in which he reached the semi-finals at the US Open Junior Championships and finished third at the ITF Junior Finals in Chengdu. He finished 2024 as Great Britain's top-ranked boy.

The 18-year-old no longer qualifies for junior tournaments with his focus now very much on progressing his career. In time, this will no doubt see him compete on the ITF World Tennis Tour Men’s and beyond.

Since filming, Charlie has accepted a place at Wake Forest University in North Carolina until April and will compete on their tennis team.

The video follows Charlie during a day’s training at the LTA’s National Tennis Centre and features an appearance from Sir Andy Murray – the pair hit together last season ahead of Wimbledon and the Olympic Games.

Charlie talks about his family’s background in farming, works out in the gym with Matt Little – his strength and conditioning coach – and shows off his golf skills at the driving range.

Day in the Life: Charlie Robertson follows the publication of Day in the Life: Joel Schwaerzler, Day in the Life: Renata Jamrichova, Day in the Life: Angella Okutoyi and Day in the Life: Mees Rottgering in 2024.

These five episodes build upon the Day in the Life videos produced in 2023 with Alexandra Eala of the Philippines and Cooper Williams of the United States.
