Bondar, Sharma and Zhang shine with W100 titles
Anna Bondar, Astra Sharma and Zhang Shuai claimed marquee victories on the ITF World Tennis Tour on Sunday – each claiming W100 titles.
Former world No. 22 Zhang, 36, rolled back the years to win her first singles crown in over three years at W100 Gifu, while Bondar and Sharma both collected their first singles titles of 2025.

Bondar defeated the Tour’s in-form player in the title match at W100 Wiesbaden, overcoming Austrian Julia Grabher 6-2 6-4 in the title match at the German clay court event.
Grabher had been on a 21-match winning streak going into the final, earning herself ITF World Tennis Tour Player of the Month honours in the process, but ultimately ran out of steam in her first career meeting with Bondar.

The Hungarian now has 19 professional singles titles to her name, and returns to the world’s top 90 this week.
Australian Sharma, meanwhile, won her first title since October 2023 after beating Whitney Osuigwe 6-2 6-2 in the final at W100 Bonita Springs.
It followed her semi-final run at W100 Charlottesville a week earlier and saw the world No. 84 close in on a return to the world’s Top 150.
Sharma now has 11 professional singles titles to her name, five of which have come on clay.
