UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour

One of the fastest growing wheelchair sports in the world, wheelchair tennis is played in the same way as able-bodied tennis, with the only exception being that a wheelchair tennis player is allowed two bounces of the ball. Men and women compete separately in the Open division, while players with higher levels of impairment compete in the mixed Quad division.

Wheelchair tennis has been a full medal sport at the Paralympic Games since 1992 and has been played at all four Grand Slams since 2007, while the BNP Paribas World Team Cup is the sport’s flagship international team competition.

Wheelchair tennis has its own professional tour, the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, which boasts over 160 tournaments across 40 different countries in every region of the world. The Tour offers over $3million USD in prize money and culminates in the season-ending NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters and the ITF Wheelchair Doubles Masters.

Wheelchair year-end finals NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters and UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters

11 - 17 November 2024

Tokito Oda, Yui Kamiji and Niels Vink all followed up their their gold medal-winning performances at the Paris 2024 Paralympics by winning the Singles Masters men's, women's and quad titles at this year's event in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Martin de la Puente and Joachim Gerard, Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot, and Sam Schroder and Vink were crowned Doubles Masters champions.

The BNP Paribas World Team Cup, returning to Antalya, Turkiye for the second successive year in 2025, is the wheelchair tennis equivalent of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup, with divisions for men, women, quads and a junior event supported by the Cruyff Foundation.
